THE WORRY WARTS
Building better communication
Sometimes children need a little bit of encouragement when it comes to getting their thoughts into words, and conversation games can help. I created a solution to build better communication between parents and children.
THE BIG IDEA
Get families talking
The Worry Warts is a family conversation game tackling tricky issues that can happen in life, from bereavement to divorce, sex talk to starting school. Worry Warts are there to help children deal with their anxieties and overcome them.

Advertising campign
To accompany the game, there will be an advertising campaign to raise awareness of how certain life events effects children. In this instance I chose the topic of divorce. The campaign is aimed at the parents to make them think 'what is my child thinking?'. A series of posters both an adults and child's thoughts. The adults are crossed out to show that they may not always be right and they should communicate with their children.
